The Alcarria is a territory that mixes large extensions of pine, oak and beech forests, covered with olive and lavender fields, bathed by reservoirs and crossed by the Tagus and its tributaries.

This place is surrounded by archaeological sites such as Ercávica or Recópolis. A few minutes away you can visit the monastery of Monsalud and the village of Bolarque. Less than thirty kilometers away you can discover villages of great historical and cultural interest such as Zorita de los Canes and Pastrana.

The nearby Buendía reservoir offers the possibility of kite surfing, water skiing and windsurfing. Boats can be rented in the surrounding area to enjoy leisurely strolls along the river, as well as recreational fishing. It is possible to practice cycling and via ferrata through the majestic landscapes carved into the rock.
